Vermont Marketing Graduate Degree Programs

Saint Leo University
Saint Leo University confers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a marketing concentration to students who successfully complete the 36 credit program. The online format provides convenience with MBA students generally taking one or two courses each term, which spans eight weeks. Students who take two courses a term can fulfill degree requirements in one year. Interested students may be able to take two concentrations. The MBA includes 21 credits in required core courses covering professional development, managerial economics, global business management, and strategic management. Marketing majors will take such core marketing coursework as advertising and promotion, marketing innovations and new product development, and sales management in addition to one elective, which could be an internship.

Northeastern University
Northeastern University’s online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program requires students to complete 17 courses (50 credits). Coursework for 12 of those courses provides a business foundation for students, encompassing information analysis, financial and management accounting, managing people and organizations, and managing information resources. MBA students then focus on their final five courses in marketing: digital marketing, international marketing, advertising and brand management, market-focused strategy, new product development, and market research. Successful applicants can begin the program on one of nine dates throughout the year and should expect to spend upwards of 20 hours a week devoted to their studies.

Vermont Marketing Undergraduate Degree Programs

Castleton State College
Castleton State College of Vermont, located in Castleton, features a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a marketing major for students interested in pursuing a career in marketing or who want to continue on to graduate school. All business students will complete core coursework in accounting, business law, marketing, management, and economics. In addition to nine credits of marketing electives, students with a marketing major must fulfill core course requirements: marketing research, marketing strategies, consumer behavior, accounting for management decisions, and advertising. Marketing majors are invited to join the Castleton Business Club, a student organization designed to help members hone their business skills and to network with those on campus and in the local community. Undergraduates can also sharpen their skills and enhance their classroom experience by completing an internship.

Champlain College
Champlain College’s Stiller School of Business allows students to earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing with a specialization in one of several areas: digital marketing and advertising, event management, integrated advertising, and public relations. Marketing majors may also design their own specialization in marketing to meet their specific interests and career goals. Students traditionally fulfill degree requirements in four years provided they take five classes a semester. Champlain College is located in the heart of Burlington with campuses also in Montreal, Canada and Dublin, Ireland, which provides students with the opportunity to study on either campus or to engage in a study abroad program at another university. The college also adheres to an “upside-down” approach, which allows students to begin taking classes in their major from their freshmen year, instead of having to wait until their junior year like traditional programs.
