Maine Marketing Graduate Degree Programs

Walden University
Walden University affords graduate students the opportunity to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a marketing concentration entirely online in their own time and at their own pace. The 36 credit graduate program generally takes less than two years to complete and is broken into three components: foundation and core business courses, marketing specializations courses, and a four credit capstone project. Semesters are 16 weeks long with classes held in eight week sessions. The capstone course, “Becoming a World Class Manager,” culminates in a project that highlights what MBA students have learned during the course of their graduate studies. Financial aid is available for eligible students, who are responsible for tuition as well as a technology fee each semester.

Saint Leo University
Saint Leo University Online awards the Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a marketing concentration. Coursework for the 36 credit online program permits students to choose up to two concentrations. MBA students in the marketing concentration study in-depth brand management, advertising, promotion, international marketing, and marketing research. Sessions are eight weeks in length, with students generally completing two courses each session. Graduate students can complete their degree in a year, although the university allows students up to five years to finish. MBA students may intern for three credits, which counts as an elective, working part-time or full-time in a position that will allow them to put the skills they’ve developed in the MBA program to work in the real world.

Maine Marketing Undergraduate Degree Programs

University of Maine
The University of Maine’s Maine Business School features a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing for students who plan to pursue a career in marketing or who want to build an academic foundation for graduate school. The program requires students to complete business coursework – such as business and technical writing, business finance, and international business – so students will develop a strong business foundation. The marketing major’s main focus is marketing classes, which cover managerial marketing, marketing research, consumer behavior, and marketing electives. Marketing majors are invited to join student organizations, including the campus affiliate of the American Marketing Association and Alpha Kappa Psi, a business fraternity that hosts social events, professional speakers, and fundraising events. Recent graduates of the BS in Marketing program have secured employment with Liberty Mutual, Staples, Hannaford, and Fidelity Investments.

University of Southern Maine
The University of Southern Maine confers the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a marketing concentration. Marketing majors must complete 15 credits in marketing, including three required courses: consumer behavior, marketing research, and marketing strategy. All new college students, who recently graduated from high school, in the School of Business are also encouraged to take the “Getting Down to Business” course, which will help prepare them for their academic careers. Marketing majors can apply for internships once they have completed a minimum of 53 credits and provided they maintain a minimum 2.33 GPA. The School of Business also awards numerous scholarships to eligible students.
