Kentucky Marketing Graduate Degree Programs


Baker College
Baker College Online features an online graduate degree leading to the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing. Graduate students will take five marketing courses and nine business courses, each typically worth four credits. Marketing courses encompass distribution marketing, international marketing, promotional management, marketing research, and the marketing environment. MBA students will complete all required courses; electives are not offered in the program. Baker College classes are held through the Blackboard system, which allows students to log on to their courses 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Students may also take advantage of job placement assistance and educational resources on how to create an effective cover letter and resume, how to prepare for a job interview, and tips for relocating for a position through the college’s Lifetime Employment Services.

Kentucky Marketing Undergraduate Degree Programs

University of Kentucky
Marketing majors at The University of Kentucky will complete 120 credits to earn their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing. The BBA program requires undergraduates to complete core college courses and foundational and core business and marketing courses. All marketing majors will take 18 credits in marketing and complete three required marketing courses: introductory marketing research, consumer behavior, and marketing strategy and planning. Students can then choose three classes from a selection of marketing electives covering sports marketing, personal selling, and promotion management. Business students can also opt for a semester or an academic year abroad in France, Switzerland, South Korea, Sweden, Austria and Spain. Summer programs are also typically available.

Northern Kentucky University
Northern Kentucky University confers the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing to undergraduates who successfully complete the 121 credit program. Students typically complete the program in four years, provided they take five classes in the fall and in the spring semester of each year. The college requires all students, regardless of their major, to take core coursework in writing, public speaking, sociology, science, and computer literacy in addition to their major requirements. Most marketing majors complete the required college courses their freshmen and sophomore years before concentrating exclusively on marketing and business courses in their junior and senior years. Students who opt to study abroad generally do so during their junior year and are encouraged to complete an internship for credit during their senior year. All marketing majors are welcome to join the Marketing Club on campus.
