Indiana Marketing Graduate Degree Programs

Indiana University Bloomington
Approximately 30 percent of all Master of Business Administration (MBA) students at Indiana University Bloomington’s Kelley School of Business concentrate in marketing. Marketing majors complete 15 credits in marketing, including two required courses and three electives. Electives cover a vast range of topics: legal issues in marketing management, consumer insights, and pricing management. Kelley School of Business offers numerous opportunities for MBA students to get hands-on experience by joining the Kelley Marketing Club or by participating in one of two programs: The Business Marketing Academy, which focuses on business-to-business marketing, and the Consumer Marketing Academy, which is for students interested in brand management. Graduate students may also join the student-run on-campus company Bloomington Brands. MBA graduates have been recruited by such prestigious companies as Procter and Gamble, Pepsi, IBM, and Grainger.

Indiana Institute of Technology
Indiana Tech confers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a marketing concentration to those who successfully complete the 42 credit program at one of its numerous campuses, including Fort Wayne, Elkhart, Evansville, Fishers, and Indianapolis. MBA students must complete four business foundation courses (executive management, managerial accounting, business statistics, and marketing management) in addition to six required business courses, two marketing courses, and two electives. Students will take marketing research and international marketing as their required concentration courses. Scholarships may be available for eligible students and Indiana Tech offers financial aid assistance, helping students to apply for student loans and to locate other sources of funding.

Indiana Marketing Undergraduate Degree Programs

Indiana Wesleyan University
Indiana Wesleyan University’s Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing undergraduate program is geared toward professionals already employed in marketing and sales or those who want to make a career change to marketing. The undergraduate program requires 124 credits for graduation and allows students to earn their degree at the Marion campus or online. Undergraduates will take a full menu of marketing courses, such as service marketing, consumer behavior, and issues in ethics. Senior marketing majors will participate in a marketing seminar, in which students will complete and present projects on current marketing topics and will welcome a host of guest speakers to class. The marketing research course allows students to develop a comprehensive marketing plan. Students may be eligible for scholarships, grants, and student loans to fund their studies.

Indiana State University
Marketing majors in Indiana State University’s Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing program can customize their degree by choosing from one of more than a dozen specializations, among them business marketing, entrepreneurship, retail management, and general marketing. The 124 credit program generally takes four years to complete and places a heavy emphasis on marketing management. Marketing majors have interned in Indiana and across the United States at companies including Disney World, J.C. Penney, Tribune Star, and Merchant National Bank. Students may also opt to participate in a co-op work experience by helping promote the university’s marketing program to prospective students and selling ads for different departments throughout the university.
