Arizona Marketing Graduate Degree Programs

University of Arizona
The University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management features a full-time graduate program leading to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a marketing concentration. The full-time MBA program takes two years to complete and graduate students will take courses in eight-week and 15-week sessions during their first year in the program, which focuses on core MBA requirements. Graduate students must only take one required course their second year, allowing them to focus on marketing courses. Marketing courses are geared toward two groups: Students who hope to gain employment after graduation and entrepreneurs who want to start their own businesses, the latter of whom can join the Entrepreneurship Program. Graduates of the MBA in Marketing at the University of Arizona have secured employed with such global organizations as American Express, Visa, Kellogg, Intel, and FedEx.

Arizona State University
Arizona State University affords students the convenience of earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing in one of three ways: The full-time MBA program, the evening MBA program, and the online MBA program. In addition to core MBA courses, students will choose from an eclectic range of marketing courses: global marketing, business-to-business marketing, marketing management, and development and pricing of new products. Graduate students may join the on-campus organizations: the MBA Strategic Marketing Association and the Center for Services Leadership and are encouraged to join the American Marketing Association. ASU boasts that, in 2011, 90 percent of all full-time MBA marketing graduates had secured jobs – with such companies as Bank of America, Aetna, and PetSmart – within three months of earning their degrees.

Arizona Marketing Undergraduate Degree Programs

Northern Arizona University
Northern Arizona University’s The W.A. Franke College of Business offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing at its Flagstaff campus. The 120-credit undergraduate program provides students with a well-rounded education in liberal arts and marketing. Students will complete courses in traditional liberal studies, including math, science, and communication. Marketing majors generally take a minimum of 15 credits a semester and, during the freshman and sophomore years, will complete basic courses in liberal studies and basic business and marketing courses. Juniors and seniors concentrate on upper division marketing courses, choosing from such diverse topics as technical writing, marketing research, and production and operations management. Students who opt to live on campus may join a Learning Community. Those in the Learning Communities live with other students in the same major or with similar interests, allowing freshmen to develop friendships from early on in their academic careers and to participate in activities with other students in their intended fields.

Grand Canyon University
Students interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Marketing can earn their undergraduate degree through Grand Canyon University at their Phoenix campus or exclusively online. Grand Canyon University provides a Christian-based education, ensuring students develop “servant leadership” skills. The BS in Marketing program requires undergraduates to complete a total of 120 credits for graduation, comprising of general college and marketing courses. All students must take a University Foundations course and a Christian Overview class, the latter of which provides students with a deeper understanding of the Christian heritage. Students will also complete courses focusing on marketing topics, such as principles of marketing, promotion and advertising, and marketing research and reporting. Strategic Management, one of the last courses all senior marketing majors take, is a capstone course in which students will develop a comprehensive business plan.
